A by-law to authorize the Reeve and Clerk
to execute a deed for lands required for
highway purposes.
WHEREAS the Ministry of Transportation and Communications
has entered into a Property Purchase Agreement T15662
dated July 17, 1972, to acquire for highway purposes a
parcel of land, shown as Part 5 on Reference Plan #2310-141
deposited on November 15th, 1971, as Plan 40R626 with the
Registrar for the Registry Division of Ontario County;
AND WHEREAS the said parcel of land is to be deeded to
Her Majesty The Queen;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township of Pickering
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
the said deed.
