BY-LAW NUMBER -40/72
A By-law to dedicate,assume and name
certain lands as a public Highway
WHEREAS the lands herein are owned by the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering and it is deemed expedient to dedicate,assume and name the said
lands as public highways.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering enacts
as follows:
That the following lands be and the same are hereby dedicated,
assumed and named as a public Highway.
All that portion of lot 18, Range 3, Broken Front concession,
in the Township of Pickering, in the County of Ontario and the
Province of Ontario having an area of 2.546 acres, and
designated as parts 1 and 2 on a Reference Plan deposited in
the Registry Office for the Registry Division of Ontario County
as Plan 40R-560.
2. That the said Parts l and 2 of Plan 40R-560 be and the same are
assumed as a Public Highway.
3. That the said Parts I and 2 of Plan 40R-560 be named McKay
Road
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in open Council this
