HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 117/74THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER ?I 7 Being a By-law to authorize the execution of a Deed in favour of the Regional Municipality of Durham The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute a Deed in favour of the Regional Municipality of Durham, being part of Lot 1, Concession V (more particularly described in Schedule "A" which shall form part of this By-law) in the Town of Pickering in the Regional Municipality of Durham. By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and PASSED this ?j1jE6vt,clh day of 4' ldGw , 1974. Mayor Clerk SCHEDULE "A" ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, Regional Municipality of Durham, formerly in the Township of Pickering and County of Ontario, Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of Lot 1 in Concession V of the said Town, described as follows: PREMISING part of the Easterly limit of the said Lot to have a bearing of North 19 degrees 18 minutes West and relating all bearings herein thereto; COMMENCING at a point in the Easterly limit of said Lot, distant 17.0 feet Southerly therein, from the North-east angle of said Lot; THENCE South 19 degrees 18 minutes East, along said Easterly limit, a distance of 295.55 feet; THENCE South 71 degrees 26 minutes 20 seconds West, along a fence, a distance of 30.59 feet; THENCE North 17 degrees 32 minutes 40 seconds West, a distance of 146.69 feet; THENCE North 09 degrees 20 minutes West, a distance of 100.82 feet; THENCE North 58 degrees 57 minutes 15 seconds West, a distance of 64.78 feet; THENCE North 71 degrees 25 minutes 30 seconds East, along the Southerly limit of the King's Highway No. 7 as widened by Highway Plan No. 341, a distance of 50.0 feet to the Point of Commencement. The above described parcel contains an area of 0.168 acres.
