Being a By-law to authorize the
Mayor and Clerk to sign a Letter
of Agreement between the Corporation
and the Ontario Hydro Commission
WHEREAS the former Township of Pickering and
the Ontario Hydro Commission negotiated a tentative
Agreement covering the installation by the Canadian
National Railways of a Rail Spur Line through the
Township Industrial Area, and;
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that this
connection be now confirmed by a Letter of Agreement
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the Mayor and
Clerk are hereby authorized to sign a Letter of Agreement
covering the construction of a Rail Spur Line to the
Ontario Hydro Commission Central System Maintenance
Centre
By-law read a First, Second and Third time and PASSED
in Council this ?? day of 1974.
