BY-LAW NUMBER
Being a by-law to authorize the execution
of a deed (re. Part Lot 18, Range 3, Broken
Front Concession)
WHEREAS by Agreement dated April 12th,1976, Pitney Bowes of Canada
Ltd. Pitney Bowes du Canada Ltee. ("Pitney Bowes") agreed to buy
from The Corporation of the Town of Pickering ("Pickering") and
Pickering agreed to sell to Pitney Bowes that part of Lot 18,
Range 3, Broken Front Concession, Town of Pickering, designated
as Part 10 on a Plan of Survey of record registered in the Registry
Office for the Registry Division of Durham (NO. 40) as No. 40R-2638;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Administrator-Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute, on behalf of The Corporation of the Town
of Pickering, deed transferring the fee simple in the lands and
premises known as Part 10, Plan 40R-2638, Part Lot 18, Range 3,
Broken Front Concession, Town of Pickering, from The Corporation
of the Town of Pickering to Pitney Bowes of Canada Ltd. Pitney Bowes
du Canada Ltee, in furtherance of the Town's obligations with
respect to the above-mentioned transaction.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED
this 09 day of hv? , 1976.
