THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER 3l Z/'7 4-
Being a by-law to adopt Amendment
Number 24 of the Official Plan for
the Town oY Pickering District Planning
Area, Region of Durham.

WHEREAS an Official Plan for the Town of Pickering District
Planning Area, Region of Durham, was prepared by the Planning
Board of the former Township of Pickering, in accordance
with Section 12 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 349;
AND WHEREAS, Council of the Town of Pickering deems it
expedient to amend the said Official Plan in accordance
with the provisions of The Planning Act, and The Regional
Municipality of Durham Act, S.O. 1973, Chapter 78;
AND WHEREAS Council has examined Amendment Number 24 of
the said Official Plan and it is deemed expedient to adopt same;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That the said Amendment Number 24 of the Town of
Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham
Official Plan is hereby adopted and recommended
to the Council of the Regional Municipality of
Durham for approval and forwarding to the Minister
of Housing for his approval and,
2. That the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the Council of
the Town of Pickering, an area municipal certification
in the form hereto attached.
