BY-LAW NUMBER826/78
Being a By-law to authorize the execution
of certain documents relating to the trans-
fer of part of Block T, Plan M-997, being
Parts 1 - 6, inclusive, Plan 40R-4089
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the owner in
fee simple of Block T, Plan M-997;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient at this time to dispose of
part of Block T, Plan M-997 to the abutting land owners;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsection 1 of
section 336 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 284, the
Council of a Municipal Corporation may pass by-laws, inter
alia, for selling or otherwise disposing of Municipal lands;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute the following documents:
(a) a Transfer in the form set out in Schedule
"A" hereto by which the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering conveys to Paul
Raymond Gaynor and Karen Elaine Mealing
that part of Block T, Plan M-997 desig-
nated as Part 1, on Flan 40R-4089;
(b) a Transfer in the form set out in Schedule
"B" hereto by which the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering conveys to Alexander
Phillip Lynn and Evelyn Marie Lynn that
part of Block T, Plan M-997 designated
as Part 2, on Plan 40R-4089;
(c) a Transfer in the form set out in Schedule
"C" hereto by which the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering conveys to David
Arther Broadhurst and Sandra Joy Dewberry
that part of Block T, Plan M-997 desig-
nated as Part 3,on Plan 40R-4089;
(d) a Transfer in the form set out in Schedule
"D" hereto by which the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering conveys to Cecil
Frederick Deyo and Elizabeth Deyo that
part of Block T, Plan M-997 designated
as Part 4, on Plan 40R-4089;
(e) a Transfer in
"E" hereto by
the Town of P
Ming Fung and
part of Block
as Part 5, on
the form set out in Schedule

Allan Mollison and Anne Marea Mollison
that part of Block T, Plan M-997 desig-
nated as Part 6 on Plan 40R-4089.
2. The Town Solicitor is hereby authorized to make his
affidavit in the matter of subsection 3 of section
5 of The Land Speculation Tax Act, 1974 with respect
to each of the dispositions of land referred to
in clauses (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) of
section 1 of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 5th day of June , 1978.
