BY-LAW NUMBER 817/78
A By-law of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering to define and determine the
duties and responsibilities of the Town
Manager and to amend By-law Number
682/77
WHEREAS By-law Number 682/77 defined the duties and responsibilities
of the Town Manager;
AND WHEREAS By Council Resolution Number 53/78, passed on May 1st
1978, Council adjusted the spending limits involving the Municipal
Purchasing Activity;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that By-law Number 682/77 is hereby amended
so that it will read, in part:
hj Control all Municipal purchasing, with authority
to enter into contracts involving approved
expenditures not exceeding $5,000.00.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED this
15th day of May , 1978.
Town Clerk
