BY-LAW NUMBER 815/78
Being a By-Law to authorize the execution
of a Lease Agreement between the Durham
Board of Education and the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering with respect to
Cherrywood Public School
WHEREAS the Durham Board of Education is the owner of that
Part of Lot 30, Concession 3, known as the Cherrywood Public
School;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
wishes to lease the Cherrywood Public School from the
Durham Board of Education for the purpose of operating
recreation programs therein;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN
OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
a Lease Agreement in the form attached hereto as
Schedule "A" between the Durham Board of Education
and the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
respecting that Part of Lot 30, Concession 3,
containing approximately two (2) acres, known as
the Cherrywood Public School.
By-Law read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 15th day of May , 1978.
