BY-LAW NUMBER 1408/81
To amend By-law C-10 respecting mileage
expenses
Whereas By-law Number C-10 enacted on December 15th
1980 established the mileage rate at $0.159 per
kilometre ($0.254 per mile); and
Whereas the Executive Committee, at its regular meeting
of November 23rd 1981, recommended that the mileage
rate be increased to $0.177 per kilometre ($0.293 per
mile);
Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. Section 17 of By-law Number C-10 is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
$0.159 per kilometre
($0.254 per mile)
and substituting therefor the following:
$0.177 per kilometre
($0.-143 per mile)
By-law read a first, second and third time and
finally passed this 7th day of December 1981.
