BY-LAW NO. 1240/81
Being a By-Law to authorize the execution
of a Transfer from the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to Riva Drafting and
Construction Company Limited respecting
Part Block R-1, Plan M-1058, designated
as Part 5, Plan 40R-4203 (LD 208/79)
WHEREAS, by Decision dated June 11th, 1979, the Regional
Municipality of Durham Land Division Committee approved an
application for severance of Lot 15, Plan 1041, subject to
several conditions, one of which requires that satisfactory
arrangements be made for the lifting of the reserve on the
Parkside Drive frontage; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the owner
in fee simple of that part of Block R-1, Plan M-1058, designa-
ted as Part 5, on Plan 40R-6143; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to convey the lands to the
abutting owner;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a
Transfer, in the form attached hereto as Schedule "A",
from the Corporation of the Town of Pickering to Riva
Drafting and Construction Company Limited of Part
Block R-1, Plan M-1058, designated as Part 5, Plan
40R-4203 (LD 208/79).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 16th day of February , 1981.
