BY-LAW NUMBER 1545/82
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
Restricted Area By-law 3036, as amended,
to implement the Official Plan of the
Town of Picketing District Planning Area
Region of Durham, in Lot 25, Plan 329,
in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing
deems it desirable to permit the development of two single
family detached dwellings on two residential lots;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036, as amended, is therefore
deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 3036
By-law 3036, passed by the Council of the Corporation of
the Township (now Town) of Picketing on the 3rd day of
August 1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board
on the ?th day of October, 1966, and amended from time to
time, is hereby further amended only to the extent
necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law.
2. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT
Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further
amended by changing from 'A' (Rural Agricultural Zone) to
'R4' (One Family Detached Dwelling Fourth Density Zone)
the zone designation of lands designated 'R4' on Schedule
'I' hereto being Lot 25, Plan 329.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This by-law shall take effect from the day of passing
hereof, subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, if required.

The purpose and effect of the By-law is to rezone the
subject lands from "A" - Agricultural to "R4" - One Family
Detached Dwelling (fourth density) in accordance with
approved rezoning application A103/81. This zoning designation
will permit the establishment of single detached residences
on lots having a minimum frontage of 15 metres.
