HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1533/82THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 1533/82 Being a By-law to authorize the execution of a deed conveying Part Lot 1, Concession 5 (Part 6, Plan 40R-6854) to Her Majesty the Queen, in right of the Province of Ontario. WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, as successor to the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, is the owner in fee simple of that part of Lot 1, Concession 5, Pickering, designated as Part 6, Plan 40R-6854; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 302, section 193 (1), the Council of a Municipal Corporation may pass by-laws for disposing of land; 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed, in the form attached hereto as Schedule "A" for the conveyance by the Town of that part of Lot 1, Concession 5, Picketing, designated as Part 6, Plan 40R-6854, to Her Majesty the Queen, in right of the Province of Ontario, represented by the Minister of Transportation and Communications for the Province of Ontario. By-law read a First, Second and Third Time and passed this 5th day of July, 1982.
