BY-LAW NO. 1461/82
Being a By-Law to amend By-Law 1416/82,
providing for the regulation and licens-
ing of places of amusement.
WHEREAS, on January 18th, 1982, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering enacted By-Law 1416/82 to provide for the regulation
and licensing of places of amusement; and
WHEREAS, on March 1st, 1982, the Council enacted By-Law 1453/82, amend-
ing By-Law 1416/82 in certain respects; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to amend further that By-Law in cer-
tain respects;
NOW THEREFOP~, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
By-Law 1416/82 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following
sections:
9a. No person under the age of 14 years shall,
(a) enter or remain in a place of amusement licensed
hereunder, or
(b)
be permitted, by a holder of a licence hereunder,
to enter or remain in a place of amusement licensed
hereunder,
unless that person is accompanied by a parent or guardian.
12. Each section of this By-Law is enacted, and shall be read
and construed, as separate and severable from the other
sections of this By-Law.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
15th day of March, 1982.
