BY-LAW NO.1731/83
Being a by-law to stop up part of Glenanna Road
and parts of Sheridan Mall Parkway and to
authorize the sale of those parts to abutting
property owners
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 298(1) of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the council of any municipality may pass by-laws to stop
up a highway or part thereof and to sell parts of stopped-up highways; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to stop up part of Glenanna Road and parts of
Sheridan Mall Parkway; and
WHEREAS, notice of this by-law has been published once a week for four consecutive
weeks and the provisions of the Municipal Act relating to the stopping-up of a high-
way have been complied with;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The lands described in Schedules "A" and "B" attached hereto are hereby
stopped-up as public highway.
The lands described in Schedules "A" and "B" attached hereto shall be offered
for sale to the abutting property owners.
This by-law shall not take effect until registered in the Registry Office for the
Registry Division of Durham.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NO. 1731/83
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regiona! Municipality of Durham and
Province of Ontario and being composed of those parts of Lots 21 and 22, Concession
1, designated as Parts 1, 2, 3, 11, 14 and 17 on a plan of survey or record
deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham as Plan
40R-7945.
SCHEDULE "B" TO BY-LAW NO. 1731/83
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying
and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham and
Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of Sheridan Mall Parkway, ac-
cording to a plan of subdivision registered in the Land Registry Office for the Land
Titles Division of Durham, designated as Parts l, 2, 3, and 8 on a plan of survey of
record deposited in that Office as Plan 40R-7764.

Section 40M-1231, Pickering.
