BY-LAW NO. 1830 /84
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a
Transfer from the Corporation of the Town of
Picketing to the Regional Municipality of Durham
of Blocks P, Q and R, Plan M-1038, Picketing
(Finch Avenue Reserves)
WHEREAS, the Town is the owner of Blocks P, Q and R, Plan M-1038, Pickering,
being reserves adjacent to Finch Avenue, a highway under the jurisdiction of the
Regional Municipality of Durham, pursuant to section 28(4) of the Regional Municipal-
ity of Durham Act; and
WHEREAS, therefore, those Blocks should be transferred, pursuant to section 193(1)
of the Municipal Act, to the Regional Municipality of Durham;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer, in the form
attached hereto as Schedule A, between the Corporation of the Town of Picker-
ing and the Regional Municipality of Durham respecting Blocks P, Q and 'I,
Plan M-1038, Picketing (Finch Avenue
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 7th day of May,
1984.
