HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2512/87THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 2512 /87 Being a by-law to authorize the Town's officers to execute the Regional Development Agreement respecting the development of five residential apartment condominium buildings in Lots 21 and 22, Concession l, Pickering (Glenanna Road/Kingston Road/Valley Farm Road; A23/86, A27/86). WHEREAS, as a condition of the withdrawal by the Regional Municipality of Durham of its objection of Pickering's Zoning By-law 2349/87, the Regional Municipality of Durham deems it necessary to enter into a Development Agreement to provide for the orderly servicing of the lands affected thereby and for the issuance of building permits in a manner relating thereto; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of tk~e Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Regional Develop- ment Agreement dated June 17, 1987, the only provision of which that affects the Town being that set out in Schedule A hereto, with respect to the deve]op- ment of that part of the Town Centre Community in Lots 21 and 22, Concession 1, Picketing, bounded by Glenanna Road, Kingston Road and Valley Farm Road and the Esplanade North (A23/86; A27/86; By-law 2349/87).
