WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 49(7) of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, the council of a municipality may by by-law provide that section 49(5) of the Act does not apply to certain lands within a plan of subdivision des- ignated in the by-law; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: Section 49(5) of the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, does not apply to the lands described as follows: Lots 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62 and 63, Plan 40M-1440, Pickering. This by-law shall not come into effect until approved by the Regional Municipal- ity of Durham.
