Being a by-law to name Part of Lots 18 and 19, Concession
8 and Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19,
Concession 8, being Parts 1, 2 and 3, 40R-32199; Part of
the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 9,
being Part 1, Plan 40R-32692; Part of Lot 18, Concession 9
and Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19,
Concession 9, being Part 1, Plan 40R-32693; Part of Lot 28,
Registered Plan 98 and Part of Lots 17 and 18, Concession
9, being Part 1, Plan 40R-32956. (Old Brock Road)
WHEREAS pursuant to the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c. 25, the Council of a local
municipality may pass by-laws for giving names to or changing the names of highways
on public property;
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as
follows:
1.The road comprising of Part of Lots 18 and 19, Concession 8 and Part of the
Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 8, being Parts 1, 2 and 3,
40R-32199; Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 9,
being Part 1, Plan 40R-32692; Part of Lot 18, Concession 9 and Part of the Road
Allowance between Lots 18 and 19, Concession 9, being Part 1, Plan 40R-
32693; Part of Lot 28, Registered Plan 98 and Part of Lots 17 and 18,
Concession 9, being Part 1, Plan 40R-32956 is hereby named Old Brock Road.
By-law passed this 26th day of January, 2026.
