BY-LAW NO. 2109/85
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2108/85 au-
thorizing the temporary borrowing of monies until
taxes are collected.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 189 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, c.302, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing has enacted
By-laws 1223/81, 1414/82, 1609/83, 1781/84 and 1954/85 to authorize the temporary
borrowing of monies until taxes were collected in each of 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 and
1985, respectively: and
WHEREAS. pursuant to that section, the Council has enacted By-law 2108/85, being a
comprehensive by-law to authorize such borrowing from time to time and it is
desirable to include therein portions of the contents of By-laws 1223/81, 1414/82,
1609/83, 1781/84 and 1954/85;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Schedule A to By-law 2108/85 is hereby amended By adding thereto the follow-
ing items:
i. 1981 $1.5 million $14 million nil
2. 1982 $1.5 million $16 million nil
3. 1983 $1.5 million $18 million nil
4. 1984 $2.5 million $22.291,000 $383,000
5. 1985 $1.5 million $25,500,000 $179,000

BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 16th day of
December, 1985,
