BY-LAW NUMBER 3648/91
Being a by-law to fix the salaries of the
Commissioners of the Pickering Hydro-Electric
Commission for the period commencing December 1,
1990 and expiring on November 30, 1991
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 43(1) of the Public
Utilities Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 423, the salary of such commissioners
shall from time to time be fixed by the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. The salaries of the members of the Pickering Hydro-Electric
Commission for the period from December l, 1990 to November 30,
1991, be set as follows:
a) Chairman ........................... $3,500.00 per annum
b) Commissioner ....................... $3,000.00 per annum
That a per diem salary apply to special meetings, seminars and
conferences other than the regularly scheduled monthly Commission
Meetings as follows:
$50.00 per day for each day or part thereof for
which a member attends additional meetings.
3. For the purposes of section 2, the term "special meetings" shall
mean,
a) convention and seminars,
b)
any meeting of a designated committee or subcommittee of the
Commission, and
c)
any meeting of the Commission occurring outside the Town of
Pickering, other than a regularly scheduled meeting of the
Commission.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 4th
day of February1991
