BY-LAW NUMBER 3604/90
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 1364/81
to prohibit left turns on Valley Farm Road
Whereas, on September 21, 1981, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering enacted By-law 1364/81, pursuant to section 210.117
of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, regulating traffic on
certain highways; and
Whereas, it is deemed expedient to amend that By-law to prohibit left
turns on Valley Farm Road;
Now Therefore, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
Hereby Enacts as Follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 1364/81, as amended, is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following:

Intersection or
Portion of Highway Direction Turn Prohibited Times
Valley Farm Road at Northbound Left At all times
the north limit of
the traffic island
located at the north
east corner of the
intersection with
Kingston Road
2. This By-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved
by the Regional Municipality of Durham and when signs to the
effect are erected.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 3rd
day of December, 1990.
