BY-LAW NO.3087 /89
Being a by-law to authorize an acquisition from
G. & M. Leofanti of Part Lot 21, Plan 434,
Picketing, and a Transfer to G. & M. Leofanti of
Part Lot 34, Range 3, B.F.C., Picketing. (Parts
4-8, Plan 40R- )
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 193(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1980, chapter 302, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing wishes to acquire Part
Lot Z1, Plan 434, Picketing for the completion of a turning circle in a road under its
jurisdiction;
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 298 of the Act, the Council of The
Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted, on September 15, 1986, By-law 2296/86
(registered February 17, 1987 as Instrument No. D241873) stopping up and closing,
inter alia, parts of Lot 34, Range 3, B.F.C., Picketing and now wishes to dispose of
part thereof pursuant to section 316 of the Act to the abutting owner;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. By Transfer/Deed of Land in the form attached hereto as Schedule A and
for the sum of $2.00, The Corporation of the Town of Picketing shall
acquire from Gabriel and Margherita Leofanti that part of Lot 21, Plan
434, Pickering, designated as Part 4, Plan 40R- ;
2. By Transfer/Deed of Land in the form attached hereto as Schedule B and
for the sum of $2.00, The Corporation of the Town o{ Picketing shall
convey to Gabriel and Margherita Leofanti that part of Lot 34, Range 3,
Broken Front Concession, Picketing, designated as Parts 5, 6, 7 and 8,
Plan 40R- ; and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute such a Transfer.
BY-LAW read a first, second arid third time and finally passed this 3rd day of April,
1989.

Plan 40R- ; and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute such a Transfer.
