BY-LAW NUMBER 2839/88
Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2511, as amended, to
implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of
Durham in Lots 28 to 30 and 32 to 36, Plan 350, Lots I to #, Plan MMI9$, and Lots l to ~
and Block 5, Plan /~0M-1326, in the Town of Picketing. (A 1/88)
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering deems it desirable to
redefine the boundary between the "R3" and "R#" Zones on lands being Lots 28 to 30 and 32 to
36, Plan 350, Lots I to t~ Plan M-1198, and Lots I to t~ and Block 5, Plan #0M-1326 to follow the
existing lot lines of the subject properties;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 2511, as amended, is therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 2511
By-law 2511, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now Town) of
Picketing on the 5th day of October 1960, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on
the 3rd day of 3anuary 1963, and amended from time to time, is hereby further amended
only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of Section 2 hereof.
2. SCHEDULE AMENDMENT
Schedule 'A' of Byqaw 2511, as amended, is hereby further amended only to the extent
necessary to revise the zone boundaries for the lands designated 'R3" (One Family
Detached Dwelling - Third Density Zone) and "R4" (One Family Detached Dwelling -
Fourth Density Zone) on Schedule I attached hereto being Lots 28 to 30 and 32 to 36, Plan
350, Lots I to 4, Plan M-1198, and Lots I to t4 and Block 5, Plan ~0M-1326.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing hereof subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board~ if required.
