BY-LAW NUMBER 4158/93
Being a by-law to amend the Town of Pickerin9
Municipal Code to adopt the 1993 estimates of all
sums required during the year for the purposes of
the Municipality of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickerin9.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 162(1) of the Municipal
Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter M.45, the Council of every Municipality shall,
in each year, prepare and adopt estimates of all sums required during the
year for the purposes of the Municipality; and
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 155 of the said Act, the
Council of every local Municipality, in each year, shall levy a sum equal
to the aggregate of the estimates referred to; and
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of section 162(3) of the said Act, the
Council may pass a by-law for levying such rates; and
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Sections 2210.5, 2210.6, 2210.7, 2210.8, 2210.10 and 2210.11 of the
Town of Picketing Municipal Code are hereby deleted and the
following substituted therefor:
2210.5 The estimates of all sums required during the year 1993
for the purposes of the Municipality of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering, as set out in Column 4 of
Section 2210.10, are hereby adopted.
2210.6 There shall be levied from and upon the whole of the
assessment for real property and business assessment,
according to the last revised assessment roll, a sum
equal to the general estimate adopted hereby, according
to the rates set out in Columns 5 and 6 of section
2210.10, for the year 1993.
