HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 4678/95 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 4678/95 Being a by-law to authorize the execution of Transfers of Easement from Alan Curtis and Jennifer Curtis over that part of Lot 20, Plan 40M-1512, Pickering, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-11013 and from Abdulla Karatela and Cynthia Karatela over that part of Lot 21, Plan 40M- 1512, Pickering, designatedas Part 1, Plan 40R-11013 to The Corporation of the Town of Picketing. WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Picketing requires storm sewer easements over those parts of Lots 20 and 21, Plan 40M-1512, Picketing, designated as Parts 1 and 2, Plan 40R-11013 for the purpose of draining storm water through Plan 40M- 1512, Pickering; AND WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions section 191 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chap. M.45, the Council of the Town may pass by-laws for acquiring interests in lands; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer of Easement, in the form attached hereto as Schedule A, from Alan Curtis and Jennifer Curtis to The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, over that part of Lot 20, Plan 40M-1512, Picketing, designated as Part 2, Plan 40R-11013. 2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Transfer of Easement, in the form attached hereto as Schedule B, from Abdulla Karatela and Cynthia Karatela to The Corporation of the Town of Picketing, over that part of Lot 21, Plan 40M-1512, Picketing, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-11013.
