BY-LAW NO, 4623/95
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Release of a
Development Agreement and related Amending Agreements
between the Town and Met-Star Holdings Limited, respecting
part of Lots 23 and 24, Concession 1, Picketing. [Met-Star
Holdings Limited; S 11/88]
WHEREAS pursuant to the Planning Act, 1983, S.O. 1983, chapter 1, sections 34 and 40, the Owner entered into
a Development Agreement with The Corporation of the Town of Pickering on February 20, 1989 notice of which
was registered March 16, 1989 as Instrument No. D306308 respecting the development of parts of Lots 23 and
24, Concession 1, Pickering;
WHEREAS the Development Agreement was amended April 20, 1990 and registered May 23, 1990 as
Instrument D342636 and further amended May 23, 1991 and registered May 29, 1991 as Instrument No.
D363281; and
WHEREAS the terms and conditions of the Development Agreement and related amendments thereto have been
complied with to the satisfaction of the Town and therefore should be removed from title.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Release, in the form attached hereto as
Schedule A, of a Development Agreement dated February 20, 1989, registered March 16, 1989 as
Instrument No. D306308 between Met-Star Holdings Limited and The Corporation of the Town of
Pickering, as amended by Development Agreements dated April 20, 1990 and May 23, 1991, registered
respectively May 23, 1990 and May 29, 1991 as Instrument Nos. D342636 and D363281, respecting the
development of those parts of Lots 23 and 24, Concession 1, Picketing more particularly described in
Instrument Nos. D183711 and D54199.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day of June, 1995.

RELEASE
In consideration of the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to it, receipt of which is hereby by it acknowledged,
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereby releases and forever discharges
MET-STAR HOLDINGS LIMITED
its heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, of and from all claims, demands, damages, actions or
causes of action which may have arisen, are arising, or may arise as a result of or in any way related to a
Development Agreement dated February 20, 1989, registered as Instrument No. D306308 on March 16, 1989,
which Agreement was amended April 20, 1990 and registered as Instrument No. D342636 on May 23, 1990 and
further amended by Agreement dated May 23, 1991, registered as Instrument No. D363281 on May 29, 1991,
between
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
and
MET-STAR HOLDINGS LIMITED
insofar as they relate to those parts of Lots 23 and 24, Concession 1, Picketing, more particularly described in
Instrument No. D183711 and that part of Lot 23, Concession 1, Pickering, more particularly described in
Instrument No. D54199.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Corporation of the Town of Pickering has hereunto affixed its corporate seal
attested by its properly authorized officers this 19th day of June 1995.
