BY-LAW NO. 4801/96
Being a by-law to dedicate that part of Lot 18,
Concession 2, Pickering more particularly as described
in Instrument No. 71455 as public highway (Finch
Avenue)
WHEREAS, on October 29, 1975 the Region enacted By-Law 220-75 removing the subject lands from their
road system;
AND WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 23(6) of the Regional Municipalities Act the lands
became vested in the Corporation of the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS, the Town wishes to dedicate that part of Lot 18, Concession 2, Picketing more
particularly described in Instrument No. 71455 as public highway;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That part of Lot 18, Concession 2, mom particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that the southerly limit of said Lot 18 has a bearing of North 740 43~ east and
relating all bearings herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point which may be located as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwest angle of said Lot 18;
THENCE NORTH 74° 43' east along the southerly limit of said Lot 18, 416.67 feet to a
point being the part of commencement;
THENCE NORTH 16° west 10 feet to a point;
THENCE NORTH 74° 43' east, 240.08 feet to a point;
THENCE SOUTH 16° east 10 feet more or less to a point in Lot 18;
THENCE SOUTH 74° 43' west 240.08 feet more or less to the point of commencement;
as described in Instrument No. 71455.
is hereby dedicated as public highway (Finch Avenue).
