BY-LAW NUMBER 4902/97
Being a by-law to amend By-law 4776/96 to prescribe a tariff
of fees for the processing of planning applications and to
establish fees for information relating to properties in the
Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 96(3) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.45, as
amended, council shall fix the sum to be paid to the clerk by any person for copies of
awards or other documents, or for any other services rendered by him; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to increase the fee for information relating to
properties in the Town of Pickering fi:om $80.00 to $100.00; and
WHEREAS Council enacted By-law 4776/96 on May 21, 1996 to prescribe a tariffof fees
for the processing of planning applications; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 4776/96 to increase the fees for site
plan applications relating to multiple residential units and compliance letters for Ministry
licenses;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The fee for information relating to properties in the Town of Picketing shall be
$100.00 per property.
2. Schedule "A" to By-law Number 4776/96 is hereby amended by deleting Items 10
and 14 and substituting therefore the following:

4. This By-law shall take effect on March 1, 1997.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th day of January,
1997.
