That the 2019 Standing Committee and Council Meeting Schedul.e included as Attachment 1 to this report, be approved. Executive Summary: In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, every municipality and local board shall pass a procedure by-law for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings. Financial Implications: There are no financial implications. Discussion: The City of Pickering Procedural By-law provides for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings. In accordance with the intent of the Municipal Act, of open, transparent and accountable government, the 2019 meeting schedule, as required by the Procedural By-law, is presented in order for public notification to commence.
