WHEREAS the DlJrha. Board of [ducat ion an{j tile wrha. Region Roman
Catholic Sefarate School B<>ard are considering the illlpleøentation of
a busing po icy which flaY affect the transportation of urban students
of the Town of Pidtering.
NOW THEREFORE it is recOl8ende<l by the Council of the Town of
Pickering that both School Boards reconsider the impact of this
policy with respect to prifli1ry school students in view of safety and
the distance and ti.e factor fr08 place of residence to school; and
That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Durhall Board of
Education and the Durilar. Region Roam Catholic Separate School Board.
