That the Executive Committee Report dated November 12. 1984 be
adopted with the following amendments:
Item 110 was deleted from the Executive Committee Report
Item 113 was amended by adding the words "and Kingston Road and
Dixie Road" after the phrase "King.!!ton Road and Altona Road".

1928/84 and 1929/84 be adopted. and that the ~aid By-law~ be now
read a Third Time and PASSED. and that the Mayor and Clerk ~ign
the same, and the ~eal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.

OTHER BUSINESS
1.
Councillor Cahill reported that the City of Scarborough
has agreed to delete the propo~ed Lawrence Avenue
exten~ion from it~ Official Plan.
2.
Councillor Mitchell reported that a workshop will be
held for parents at the Recreation Complex on November
22. 1984 at 8:00 P.M. on street-proofing children.
3.
The following matters were di~cus~ed prior to the
regular meeting:
a)
Council concurred with a reque~t from Mr. Ed
Sorbara to erect another ~ign on hi~ property at
the southwe~t corner of Whites Road and Kingston
Road.
b)
The Town Manager was authorized to negotiate the
sale of lands at the northwest corner of Bayly
Street and Liverpool Road.
c)
The petition from resident~ on Rougecrest Drive
requesting the deletion of the fence at the rear of
their propertie~ was deferred pendin£ a meeting of
the re~idents with M.T.R.C.A.
d)
Councillor Arthurs reque~ted a summary of the 1984
budgets by topic.

CONFIRMATION BY-LAW
BY-law Number 1930/84
.
Councillor Cahill. seconded by Councillor Mitchell moved for leave
to introduce 8 By-law of the Town of Pickering to confirm the
proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering at its meeting held on November 19. 1984 and that same
be now read a first. second and third time and that the same be
now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and
that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.

Council of the Town of Pickering and recommends:

a plan of ~ubdivi~ion is neither appropriate or
nec~5sary. land sev~rance~ may proceed through the

where ~uch severance could create a landlocked par-
