SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Heeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on
October 22. 1984 at 7:30 p.m.
.
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law). this Special Meeting
was called to consider By-law Number 1916/84 to permit a motel on
the south side of Kingston Road.

RESOLUTION
Resolution 1101/84
Moved by Councillor Robertson
Seconded by Councillor Mitchell
That Council's Resolution of September 17. 1984 pertaining to
Zoning By-law Amendment Application A 23/84 submitted by Bruce E.
Freeman and Associates Inc.. on behalf of the applicant. Dodge
Developments Ltd.. to amend Zoning By-law 3036 (as amended by
By-law 1221/81) be revised by deleting Condition a) in its
entirety and replacing it with the following. "That prior to the
issuance of a building permit. the owner enter into an appropriate
development agreement with and to the satisfaction of the Town of
Pickering which shall include but not necessarily be limited to
the requirement for a site plan agreement and financial
contribution for the construction of a sidewalk across the
frontage of the property. including curbs and sodded boulevard.
and for upgrading of street lighting in front of the subject
property."
