Magi - Planning Director (I) ADOPTION OF MINUTES Regular Meeting of June 18. Special Meeting of June 25. 1984. 1984. (II ) DELEGATIONS 1. Mr. Serge Bozikovic. 1743 Walnut Lane. addressed Council during the Statutory Public Meeting to c~nsider Zoning By-law 1864/84. He stated that he represents himself and other neighbours. The recommendation at the June 5th Planning Committee Meeting was to refuse the appli- cQtion to permit a dance school but the Committee intro- duced the motion in the affirmative for humanitarian and cultural reasons. The people who supported this appli- cation come from all parts of the Region of Durham and very few are directly affected by it. The dance school has an enrollment of 220 students making it a major commercial operation and by approving this application. a precedent will be set that will permit other commer- cial operations in this section of Kingston Road.
