A ComMittee Meeting was held on TUESDAY, the NINTH day or JULY, 1957, at
TEN o'cloek in the forenoon, regarding Chesterhill DeveloDments Limited.

Messrs. Watt & Miller, rrom Marshall, Monaghan
Mr. Palmer, from Miller Paving
The Meeting was called by Mr. Stevens to try to iron out certain road and
Watercourse problems in the Chesterhill Subdivision:
·1. Island R..", south side, more water being diverted into ditch, causing
washouts. Marshall, Monaghan and Company will issue a report to
Chesterhill as to cost of ~ating with hard surface and possibly re
locating culvert at Rouge Rills Drive.
2. Fear that when Shopping Centre is paved the increased water will cause
much concern at Friendship Avenue, which is already loaded to full
capacity during rains. Marshal, Monaghan report to Chesterhill.
3. Marshall Monaghan and Company examine corner Friendship Avenue and
Sunnyslope, and Brycemore Avenue.
4. Chesterhill Developments Limited fill in Lots 119, 120, 121, as they
are below road level.
5. Chesterhill Developments Limited divert run-orf from Rouge Hills
Golf Course lands.
6. Township Engineer report on Lots 210-213, inclusive,
7. Township Engineer will mark map showing size of all private culverts.
Chesterhill will advise builders of proper sized culverts to instal.
8. Reeve recommended that Chesterhill pay Township $2,000.00 for top
dressing of gravel, but Chesterhill roll in and treat.
9. All grades for houses to be supplied by Marshall, Monaghan and Company.
10. All ditches and culverts to be cleaned out before roads assumed by
Township.
11. Sunnyslope and Brycemore ditches to be cleaned out by August 1, 1957.
AGREED Chesterhill Developments Limited and same Council members meet in
two weeks to discuss Marshall Monaghan report.
