Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mrs. McPherson, moves that By-Law Number 2189 to repeal By. Nunlber 1988 and provide remuneration for the Reeve and Council be now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mrs. McPherson, moves that By-Law Number 2188 to appoint a Road Superintendent in the Township of Pickering, be now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. The Committee of the Whole arises ar:d reports the By-Law as read. - 8 - By-Law Number 2188 (Continued) Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Pugh, moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-Law Number 2188 be adopted, and that the said By-Law be now read a Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. CARRIED BY-LAW NUMBER 2190 Mr. Pugh, seconded by Mr. Scott, moves for leave to introduce a By-Law of the Township of Pickering to appoint a member to the Pickering District High School Board, and that same now be read a first time. Mr. Pugh, seconded by Mr. Lawson, moves that By-JAw Number 2190 to appoint a member to the Pickering District High School Board, be now read a second time and Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon. The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-Law as read.
