la County Reýistrar advises he has had second thoughts and will not
put a Reg~strar's Compiled Plan on Plan 3~6, East Woodlands, but
a Land Titles Plan will be required for the 200 properties at a
cost of $14,690.00 of which the Province will pay $3,672.50
leaving $5,508.75 for owners and $5,508.75 for Township.

MOVED by Mrs. McPherson, seconded by Mr. Spang. that whereas the
Township Council has agreed to accept Service Road from Liverpool Road
I to Fairport Road and Department of Highways of Ontario will not be in
a position to make the transfer for several months;
Metro To~onto and Region Conservation Authority ask that they be
permitted to purchase the approximately 76 acres flats in West
Rouge owned by the Township for $2.00, subject to conditions.

AND WHEREAS the Department of Highways of Ontario have asked that the
Township maintain such road until taken over, for snow plowing and
sanding and bill them 100%;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Township Road Department maintain
such Service Road for snow plowing and sanding until taken over by the
Township, with Department of Highways of Ontario paying lOOt of such
cost. CARRIED
RESOLUTION NUMBER ~~7/64

to sell to the Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority
the approximately 76 acres in Rouge Hills flats, owned by the Township,

Committee of the Whole on By-Law No. 2949 be adopted, and that the

Mr.Spang, seconded by Mr. Newman, moves for leave to introduce a By-La~
of the Township of Pickering to amend By-Law 2603 and its appendices,
and that same now be read a first time.
Mr. Spang. seconded by Mrs. McPherson, moves that By-Law Number 2950
to amend By-Law 2603 and its appendices be now read a second time, and
that Council go into Committee of the Whole thereon.
As there were 72 appeals against Zoning By-Law 2790 and the
Planning Board had reviewed such appeals and made a decision, they
were submitted to Council for approval. Planning Board recommendationß
were approved as follows:

Items 30 to 38 - Moved 'by Mr. Wank, seconded by Mr. Waring and CARRIED

It was brought to the attention of Council that a warning light
should be placed at the south side of Clark's Hollow bridge at the
curve. Mrs. McPherson agreed to inform County Road Department.
Four gravel companies asked for full loads in half load season and
they would supply gravel for any damage. Referred to Road Committee.
