T. Ryce noted that this would have been K. McKay’s
last meeting due to retiring form the Board of Trade
J. Sabean sent regrets
S. Bhatia sent her regrets and will be unable to attend the next 4 meetings due to being out of
country – need to see if a rep can be sent as she is
away for 4 months
T. Ryce noted that the agenda needed to be amended to include the approval of the minutes.

T. Ryce to send the Creative Cities Network eNews letter link for member to subscribe to.

2. 2016 Work Plan Review
T. Ryce reviewed the work plan with the committee and provided updates on what has been completed and what is still outstanding.
T. Ryce encouraged members of the committee to
network in the community regarding the work of the
committee, and to attend the networking meetings provided by the Library

Continuing on public art
Advising groups of the support the city offers for events
Champion the 150 event
Whitevale mural project
Ontario 150 “I am Ontario”
T. Ryce to have advisory committee members
added to the networking meeting invitation list
Committee members to submit email to T Ryce
regarding interest in being on the artwork selection committee for the Ontario 150 program.
3. Draft Event Manual and Processes
Community Festivals and Events Tool Kit was
presented to the committee and was reviewed by T. Ryce.
Cultural Advisory Committee members to review package and provide any comments to T. Ryce prior to April meeting.
4. Cultural Map J. St. Amant provided an overview of the City of Hamilton integrative map application.
Jesse St Amant to meet with Jeff Brooks regarding the City’s new mapping
program to determine applications for the Cultural Directory, and prepare a recommendation.
5. PMV Strategic Plan Focus Group Session
Meeting adjourned to allow committee members to participate in the PMV Strategic Plan Focus Group
