The following PERSONS, on MOTION, were heard:
1.
Mr. T.O. Jefferson discussed his proposed Sewer and Water By-laws
and resolution requiring all new houses in west part of Sewer Area
to be pre sewered ,when built.
Rsl~ve ~ott explained that as directed the Clerk had submitted an
of" er or 12,000.00 per acre for 10 acres to Mr. Alex Picov, being
south 10 acres of his lands in Concession Broken Front, Range 2,
Lot 19,. which was refused by Mr. A. Picov. That Mr. Picov had
offered the Township, through the Reeve 10 acres abutting Brock
Road 20 rods wide for $5,500.00 per aore or the \bole 40 acres at
$3,000.00 per acre. Council thought the former too high and would
not con.ider the latter proposition; also Consolidated Building
Corporation would not accept the $5,500.00 rate per acre.
Mr. Proctor of Proctor and Redfern stated the tenders were out for
the building of the Water Filtration Plant and due next Monday;
felt that the Picov property was the more desirable over property
in Lot 18; that it would be more desirable to have 40 rods lake
front rather than 20 rods and that eventually part of Lot 18 would
be required for expansion; that it was not desirable to consider
Lot 18 because time was of the essence and any change of location
man:i; new design and Ontario Water Resources Commission approval.

Towru, hip could reach an agreement, and if expropriated title CQu1d
be obtained in about one week.

suitable for plant and stated if his lands were expropriated he
