Mr. Thornton of Creighton, Fraser & Drynan asked Council to giv~
Donald Annan a Quit Claim deed to a strip of land 30 feet and l~ss
wide f10r 2,000 f"eet being the original unused survey between Lots
22 - 23, Range 3. Mr. Thornton was directed to contact our
Solicitor.

Mr. Fred~Mi1ler, Concession 1, Lot 33, stated two of his children
were bit en by a dog last Thursday, it had- been reported but until
Monday P.M. the dog had not been picked up, and he thought there
was inefficiency in the Dog Department. He also objected to 80
many degø running at large scattering garbage and being a general
nuisance. Council was advised the dog in question was picked up
late Mon.y. Mr. Miller was advised that Council are endeavouring
to improve the dog si tua tion .
Wi1lia. ~ir2riev~s stated Mr. Gerigs ... doing a good job of catch--
ing dogs but the By-Law Officer should enforce the By-law to require
persons to put their garbage in a proper container.
Mr. Howard H. Nicholson asked for a fourth Taxi License.

5. Mr. Jefferson stated that due to the saving of $20,000.00 on
estimate of cost of Water Tower, he recommended the passing of a
By-Law to reduce water rate s in Area 1. He also discussed By-laws
for securing sites for Water Treatment Plant, Water Tower and a
cinder path on Liverpool Road, recommending the path be held up
until C. B. C. built a sidewalk on east side at no expense to the
Township.

Mr. R. Turk of March 7, 1960, re auto allowances be accepted by Council.
This recommendation refers to establishing a policy respeeting personal

of which the ratepayers in the area will be required to pay 60%, or 0/
$1320.00, and

Corporation to supervise the construction of lines, and that same now
