portrait of Joseph MOnkhouse, Warden, 1887. Clerk give the Company
names of relatives of Messrs. Miller and White.

9. L. E. Ducasse, living at Con. 5, Lot 2, has been ordered out of
garage by December 31st. As she has taken out a Building Permit
for a house, Council directed that she take out a temporary permit
on living in garage and deposit $300.00.

) 11. Stanley Mann asked that 100 foot Lots 10 and II, Plan 392, and 58-59
Plan 250, be permitted to be sold as 50 foot frontage as nearly all
lots in Pickering Beach are 50 foot lots.
¡AGREED_that Road Superintendent try to get 10,000 yards gravel crushed
from Township pit by Regan, or someone else, for 45¢ per yard or less.
1 MOVJ!l.~ by Mr. Michell, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, that S. Mann be granted
permission to divide 100 foot lots in Plan 392, Lots 10-11, and Plan
250, Lots 58-59 in 50 foot frontage lots, but Mr. Mann to sell whole

Mr. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Michell, moves ror leave to introduce a
By-Law or the Township or Pickering to appoint a Road Superintendent
in the Township of Pickering, and that same now be read a rirst time.
Mr. BaIsden, secended by Mr. Lawson, moves that By-Law Number 2050 to
appoint a Road Superintendent in the Township of Pickering, be now read

Mr.- BaIsden, seconded by Mr.,Newaan, moves that the Report of the
COllllllittee or the Whole on By-Law No. 2050 be adopted, and that the
said By-Law be now read a-Third time and PASSED; that the Reeve and
Clerk sign the same, and that the Seal or the Corporation be arrixed

Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves, for leave to introduce a By-
Law or the Corporation or the Township of Pickering to authorize the
carrying on or a Community programme or Recreation within the meaning
or the regulations under The Department of Education Act, and that same
now be read a rirst time.
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Miehell, moves that By-Law Number 2051 to author-
ize the carrying on or a COllllllunity Programme or Recreation within the mean-
ing or the regulations under The Department or Education Act, be now read
a second time, and tàat Council go into Ce.-ittee or the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole then arose and reported.

Law o~ the Township ot Øickering to appoint members to the Township ot
Pickering Recreation Committee, and that same now be read a ~irst time.
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Hr. Michell, moves that By-Law Number 2055 to
appoint members to the Township ot Pickering Recreation Committee be now
read a second time and that Council go into Committee o~ the Whole thereon.
