The f'ollowing PERSONS on MOTION were heard:
1. Hr. Jackson, Toreato Daily Star, asked that he be peraitted to donate
perhaps 50 road or street signs 8 inches by 24 inches steel on 9 1'oot
posts with advertising covering 8 inches by 8 inches; letters 2t
inches high. Township to instal.

our Road Sup.rinte.d.ent at Brough'" Wednesday, Nove.her 24th, at
One P. M. at Droura. and list locations f'or such signs and subld.t

2. Mrs. Moore and delegation 01" Rivercourt Drive asked Council to assist
them in clearing up Rouge River so that the debris will not cause
more 1"looding next Spring.
As the delegation believed the trees would burn, they were asked to
contact the ~re Department 1"orprotection.
3. Mr. Houston or Fairport Beach discussed the proposed road at rear or
their homes.
AGREED 15 reet all that is necessary at rear or Warner and Ashman.
Clerk advise C. E. Morley to p'roceed on this basis.
4. Mr. Forrest, 01" Glen Cedar tamp, asked permission to build about 20
pre-rab summer houses about 20 feet by 20 1"eet on his lands under
that part of Building By-Law whereby such cottages could be built
in a "health or Fresh Air Camp" under an Agreement.

CLERK'S INSTRUCTIONS
1. Have Building Inspector placard garage of Couperthorne, Plan 270, as
it is now vacant.
2. Have Mr. Ward use crawler on Playford lot.
3. Write Jackson to clean up dump and have it op~ned as agreed.

Mr. Balsd.en, seco.ded by Mr. Newman, moves that the Report of the Committee
of the Whole o. By-Law Ko. 2019 to authorize the borrowing of . 68,000.00
upon Debentures 1"or School purposes (School Section 2), be adopted, that the
said By-Law be read a Third tilDe- and Passed; that the Reeve and Clerk sign
the same, and that the Seal of tbe Corporation be arfixed thereto.

Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves 1"or leave to introduce a By-Law
of the Municipality of the Township or Pickering to regulate the composition
01" well and cistern tops, and that same now be, read a first time.
Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves that Bl-Law Number 2045 to
regulate the composition of well and cistern tops be now read a second time,
and that Council go into Committee 01" the Whole thereon.
The Committee or the Whole then arose and reported.
Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Michell, moves that the report of the Committee
01" the Whole on By-Law No. 2045 be adopted, that the Reeve and Clerk sign
the same, and that the Seal of the Corporation be a1"1"ixed thereto.

On MOTION of Mr. Balsdon, the meeting adjourned.
