MINUTES of an Emergent Meeting, held December 14, 1953, were read,
and on MOTION of Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Newman, ADOPTED.

1.J. C. Barkey, Concession 2, S ½ Lot 18, complained about
his Business Tax, saying it was too high.
M~VED by Mr. Lawson,'seconded by Mr. Michell, that Mr.
Barkey's Business Tax be sustained. CARRIED
2. Mrs. Clare Holter, Pickering Village, claimed that there was
an error in computing her assessment
MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Lawson, that Mrs-
Holter's building assessment for 1953 - 1954 be reduced
$ 150.00. CARRIED
