2. Write Ted Sims re 5% railroad grade.
M~VED by Mr. Michell, seconded by Mr. Lawson, that
WHEREAS the Township of Picketing have agreed to pay the Ajax~
Fire Brigad~ $ 75.00 per call for calls within the Township;
AND WHEREAS the Township of Pickering have agreed to pay the
Village of Pickering $ 60.00 per call for calls within the said
Township;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that
1. Ail Fire Calls placed by the Fire Chief or their Dep~uty-
Chiefs for assistance from Area 1, Brougham, or Claremont
' Brigades, shall be paid at ~the rata of Sixty Dollars
($60.00).. per call.
2. Ail Fire Calls answered by the Broughsm or Claremont
Brigade shall be paid at the rate of Sixty Dollars
($60.00) per call.
3. The above rates will be paid by the Township of P~ckering
commencing January 1, 1953.
4. This cancels' former agreement guaranteeing Four Hundred
Dollars ($400.00) per year.

Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Michell, moves for leave to introduce a
By-Law to prohibit indecent exposure in the Township of Picketing,
and that same now be read a first time.
Mr. Lawson, seconded by Mr. Balsdon, moves that By-Law Number 1971
to prohibit indecent exposure in the Township of Picketing, be now
read a second time and that the ~Council go into Committee of the
Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole then arose and reported.

the said By-Law be mow read a Third time and passed; that the Reeve

that same now be read a first time.

to provide for a vote being taken of the Electors in a proposed
water area on the question, "Are you in favour of the establishment

By-Law to appoint the place and hour for receiving nominations for the
offices of Reeve, Deputy-Reeve and three Councillors forthe MuniCipal-
ity of the Township of Picketing, and to receive nominations for two
trustees for School Area No. 1, for the year 1955: To appoint the places
for holding the Election thereof and persons to preside thereat as
Deputy-Returning Officers and Poll Clerks, and that same now be read a
first time. ~

appoint the place and hour for receiving nominations for the offices of
Reeve, Deputy-Reeve and three Councillors for the Municipality of the
Township of Picketing, and to receive nominations for two trustees for
