T. Ryce welcomed all and advised the committee
that C. Schnippering sends her regrets.
2. Approval of Minutes & Agenda

3. Public Art Program and Policy – update
T. Ryce noted that at the last meeting she
presented the Public Art Brief

T. Ryce will be sending out an RFP for a consultant
for the purpose of writing a public art policy and
program.
4. Heritage Designation Signage Program
T. Ryce provided an overview of the program.
noted that S. Mathuria provide some research
on signage which is in the package handed
out.

5. Promotion of Heritage Assets Action Plan
T. Ryce reviewed the City’s goal to provide synergy
between the various action plans from all the invested
parties and City staff areas.
T. Ryce reviewed the Heritage Assets Promotions
Plan Document.
6. Tom Thomson celebration 2017
T. Ryce reviewed the plan for the Celebrations on
Tom Thomson.
J. Sabean noted that the Historical Society currently
has one speaker lined up.
Town of Ajax is hosting a diversity leadership this
Saturday, October 22nd. T. Ryce will send out the
link.
