An Open Meeting of Owners was held to consider an Industrial Area
for Liverpool Road to Ajax, and No. 2 Highway to Lake, plus property
of H. A. Newman, Reeve Todd, presiding.

The proposed zoned ar'ea and purpose of the meeting were outlined by
Reeve Todd, Mr. Morley, ~. I~annin.~ and Mr. Balsdon, and the general
discussion was led by Mr. Culham.
MOVED by Mr. Michell, seconded by Mr. Newman, that the Owners consider
the merits of said zoning and meet again in two weeks.
MOTION LOST
MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Rogers, that a Committee be
nam--~by the Reeve to work with the Planning Board. CARRIED
The Reeve named H. A. Newman, Ed. Stork, W. H. Moore, A. E. Calvert,
H. Squires, C. A. Balsdon, and it was agreed they would meet~Vthe
Board Friday, June 13th at 8 P. M.
The Meeting Adjourned.
COUNCIL ASSEMBLED
Ernest Foster formerly of Saunders Road, Scarborough, having lived
in a trailer, and been evicted by the Township of Scarborough, recently
purchased a lot in Fairport Beach. Wants to build a house without the
$300.00 Building Deposit.
MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by Mr. Michell, that application of
Foster be not granted. CARRIED
Mr. J. BarJak, of Brougham, asked County of Ontario for a Wrecking
License.
MOVED by Mr. Newman, seconded by ~,~. Balsdon, that this Council
recommend to County Council that no Wrecking License be granted Mr.
B~rjak. CARRIED
MOVED by Mr. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Michell, that Motion of June 2
last be revoked and that B. Roberts be permitted to move his trailer
from Heron Camp to his lot, and use for six months while building his
new house, and at end of that time the trailer be removed from Township
or destroyed. MOTION LOST
