A letter was read from McLaughlin, Macaulay, May and Soward, stating
that the Aseessment Department of the Department of Municipal Affairs
were of the opinion that Duffin's Creek between the C.N.R. and the La~

the sideline between Lots 1~ and 15 be used from the south side of
Highway 2A to Lake OntariO.
After giving consideration to :-
1. Loss of Duffin's Creek as a sewage disposal system, and

it was MOVED by Mr. Clare Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Fred Zinkie, that
as Duffin, s Creek d~ains most of the Township of Picketing, ~t is
considered by Council that this Creek is of more importance to this
Township than to any other municipality, so that it should be retaine~
by said Council as a sewage disposal bed; and that this Council
recommend the sideline between Township Lots No. 12 and 13 be used as
a Municipal Boundary instead of that between 1~ and 15. CARRIED.
