BROUGHAM
An EMERGENTmeeting of Council was held on N~um~.~y, the
twenty-fourth day of June, 1950, at the corner of Rosebank
Road and No 2 Highway.
ALL Members were present.
Several sites were looked over by Council as suggested by
the Fire Committee, as a site for a Fire Hall, No action
was taken as prices were not available'
MOVED by Clare Balsdon, seconded by George Todd that the
Clerk advise the High School Board that it will not be
necessary to have the cement blocks filled on the inside
walls of the New High School. CARRIED
MOVED by Clare Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Burk that the Reeve
pr°clain Monday August 7th, 1950, a Civic Holiday in the
Township of Picketing. CARRIED
The Clerk was instructed to inquire of Humane Society, the
cost of disposing of necessary Picketing Township degs.
The Meeting, on motion, adjourned.
