Tho following correspondence was read:

It was agreed that Mr. Moore of the Legal Department of
Provincial Depe. rt~ent be asked to attend Couneil meeting on
February let next, relative to a topographical survey.
Reeve Noble and Deputy Reeve Powell of East Whitby, having
been aske~ to be present to hear Inspector Hand of the Provincial
Police Department, Aurora, were welcomed by the Reeve.

stated that if Council. intended to consider requesting them to
do the policing it would be neeessary to make application to the
Attorney-General for a survey of men required and costs before an
agreement could be reached.
Mr. John Forgie, Secretary of SeE. No. 3E, Dumbarton was
S.S. 3E heard and ~he presented .an application for a tentative approval
.P~e~osed for the issue of up to ~55,000 debentures for his section for
the erection of a four-room addition to their school house.

the Department of Planning and Development. Carried .

relative to a survey by their Department of the designated
police ares of this Township in respect to an agreement with
them for policing.
