Am emergent meeting of Council was held on the above date at
Brougham. Ail meazbers present except ~ir. Burk.
Cortes- The following correspondence was read:

3. Brunner Mond advising they ere holding 60 tons Calcium Chloride
for this Township for year 1949, subject to confirmation, at price
of $34.08~per ton.
4. ,County Clerk, re hospitalization of N~rgaret Peteigmey and babe
of 17 York St., Ajax, repudiated, as she resided in Toronto since
May 1st week, 1948.
5. County Clerk, re hospitalization of Runa Eliason. Repudiated
as parents are residents of Scarborough.
6. R. D. Ruddy, advice re ownership of Plan 350 roads.
Mr. Clare Balsdon, seconded by Mr. E. F. Disney, moves for leave
By-law to introduce a By-law to adopt the agreement between landowners

Moved by Dr. McEwen, seconded by Mr. Balsdon that petition be made

Beach whereby said roads were taken over by Council. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Balsdon, seconded by Mr. Disney that petition be made
to the Department of Highways for subsidy on road work in Fairport

Moved by Dr. McEwen, seconded by Mr. Disney, that Clerk advise

Brooks who had resided partially in each municipality prior to
admission to hospital.
The Planming Act by-law was discussed and laid over for further
advice.
